E-Mail to BCS Administrator Bill Hancock

Bill,

Thank you for your part in another round of games allowing the top teams in the nation to play compelling and exciting games!

I am writing to provide you with the newest version of my plan and look forward to hearing what opportunities remain to improve it. I expect to submit this plan to the conferences and the members of the BCS Presidential Oversight Committee over the coming weeks, as several of the ideas in this plan are outside the jurisdiction of the BCS (ie. the formal NCAA rule change suggestions on pages 12-15). If you would like to be included in these correspondences I would be happy to include you for a courtesy copy.

I certainly appreciate the time constraints assessing a collection of ideas of this magnitude involve. I am still working on ways to merge the two designs presented in this plan that I should have available in March.

I do have a few questions that I would be interested in knowing the answer to that are related to (but not dependent on) a full reading of this plan.

1) What would be the PR impact of hiring a BCS Director of Research and Development?

2) Has the BCS considered generating and maintaining a formal and public study of the postseason designs and their constraints?

3) As the BCS Executive Director of the BCS, what is your 20 year vision for the BCS?

I will be posting the emails sent in this campaign to all conference and university promoting this plan at www.BCSEvolution.com. The attached plan can be found at http://www.bcsevolution.com/pages/prathers-postseason-plan.

I look forward to your always enjoyable response. Thank you for your time,

Ben
